Don’t miss out: 21 new connectors launched this August
In August alone, we’ve added 21 new connectors and connector enhancements, expanding integration capabilities significantly. Key additions include SAP Data Cloud and FHIR.

IDoc Deduplication: Ensuring Reliable SAP Integrations
Introducing IDoc deduplication for triggers, a safeguard that prevents SAP from triggering duplicate IDocs in Workato, ensuring that only unique IDocs are processed.
This safeguard is particularly important in scenarios where network latency or OPA outages might otherwise cause duplicates. Duplicate IDocs can result in transactional errors, such as duplicate orders, invoices, or financial entries. Eliminating these duplicates, significantly reduces the risk of errors and improves the overall reliability of integrations.
Builder Experience
Boost data accuracy with custom field validations for Workflow Apps
Workflow Apps users can now ensure data accuracy with customizable field validations. Now, users can define custom rules for their input fields. This is key for capturing expected data and eliminating mistakes during early steps in business workflows.
We’ve also made several usability enhancements, like increasing the maximum columns per table from 50 to 100 and the ability to turn off email notifications for assigned tasks.
Asset Search upgrade: get the information you need
We’ve improved asset search to help you find what you need faster. Use filters and sorting options to refine your search results quickly. You can now search within these specific fields:
- Names
- Descriptions
- Apps used
- Actions used
Example Scenario: Search for “update record” to find all assets that use this action. If you’re looking for this action within a specific app (e.g., Salesforce), add an “app” filter for “Salesforce.”
Faster, smarter single recipe deployment
Deploy a single recipe directly from its page and enjoy a smoother deployment flow. Select the environment, and the deployment will be automatically customized for that recipe and its dependencies.

Recipe version management: add and update comments
Add, update, or retrieve comments on specific recipe versions or view all comments associated with a recipe. New endpoints for Workato/Developer APIs to enable full control over recipe version comments.
✨Workato/Developer API
GET /api/recipes/:recipe_id/versions retrieves detailed information about all versions of a specified recipe, including comments for each version.
GET /api/recipes/:recipe_id/versions/:id retrieves detailed information about a specific recipe version, including its comment.
PATCH/PUT /api/recipes/:recipe_id/versions/:id updates an existing comment on a specific recipe version.
Platform Security
On-Prem Agent users: OPA 24.3 now available
And for those using the Workato On-Prem Agent, OPA 24.3 brings a SAP update and security enhancements. Check here for release notes.
