Platform Connector Updates: Enhancements and Bug Fixes
NetSuite
Enhancement Bug fix
NetSuite helps businesses manage core processes like ERP, CRM, and financials.
Enhancement:
- The default page size for triggers has been updated. Users now have the ability to specify the page size for various triggers including new classification records, new/updated custom records, new/updated standard records, and those within a saved search. This update does not affect export (bulk) and batch triggers as they have their own parameters to control this. Additionally, we have removed the page size parameter from the “searchMoreWithId” call to improve the functionality of most triggers. Finally, we have made some refinements to our constants, setting the MAX_PAGE_SIZE to 200 and the BULK_PAGE_SIZE to 50 for bulk triggers.
Bug FIx:
- Custom fields are now visible in the NetSuite Recipe Design. Users are able to select custom fields in the drop-down menu when executing the “Create Resource allocation in NetSuite” action and “Search Resource allocations in NetSuite Batch” action.
- Billable date custom field is now cleared out in NetSuite. This includes when the Workato JSON shows the Billable date as null and applies to the update and upsert actions for custom records in both batch and bulk.
Sage Intacct
Bug fix

Bug FIx:
- The ‘New/Updated Object’ trigger for Sage Intacct has been improved to ensure seamless functionality with the ‘Tax Detail’ object. By leveraging a new query API, the update resolves prior issues, enabling better sorting, larger data limits per request, and streamlined performance.
Stripe
Enhancement
Stripe simplifies online payment processing for businesses of all sizes.
Enhancement:
- We have reinstated the “New Charge” trigger in Stripe to ensure compatibility with OAuth connections. Please note that this trigger is specifically for OAuth connection type. For API key based authentication, please use the “New object event” trigger. This update is aimed at providing a seamless experience for all our users, regardless of their preferred connection type.
HubSpot
Enhancement
HubSpot provides tools for inbound marketing, sales, and customer service.
Enhancement:
- In addition to the granular scopes support announced in October, we’ve made additional improvements which include linking to the relevant documentation to improve configuration, reintroduced the {{crm.schemas.custom.write}} scope into the scopes picker in the HubSpot connection settings, and made the granular scope configuration in Workato clearer by updating the text under the scopes picker.
Bug fix

Bug FIx:
- The “Lead Gen Form Response by ID” action now ensures accurate mapping of multiple-choice field values, enabling users to reliably capture and utilize the correct selections from lead gen forms. This improvement optimizes data handling for smoother workflows.

IDP by Workato streamlines data extraction and processing for documents like invoices.
Bug FIx:
- Confidence scores for recipient and vendor addresses are now accurately extracted when processing invoice PDFs. This update ensures users can rely on precise confidence metrics for enhanced data validation and decision-making.
Dynamics 365
Bug fix
Dynamics 365 empowers businesses with tools for CRM and ERP integration.
Bug FIx:
- Updating objects in Dynamics 365 now ensures that null values are correctly handled in lookup fields, removing unnecessary reference links. This improvement enhances data accuracy and consistency across both standard and batch actions.
File Tools by Workato

File Tools by Workato simplifies file management and processing for seamless workflows.
Bug FIx:
- The “Get File” action now includes a new option, ‘Include line breaks?’, allowing users to specify whether line breaks should be included in Base64-encoded file content. This update ensures greater flexibility and compatibility when handling file data in subsequent workflows.

Bug FIx:
- The “Send Request” action now correctly processes URLs containing dots in the path, ensuring error-free execution and smoother performance in production recipes.

- The “Update User” action now seamlessly handles recoveryEmail and recoveryPhone fields in the payload. This update aligns with the user REST API, ensuring accurate placement of these fields and improved functionality.

- The “Update Issue” action now fully supports datapill mapping in the Sample project issue type, providing consistent functionality with the “Create Issue” action and improved user experience.

- Connections now function seamlessly even when the Contacts module is hidden. Test settings calls have been refined to retrieve all modules, ensuring flexibility and better usability. Additionally, clearer scope field hints have been added for an enhanced user experience.
Outlook
Enhancement
Outlook streamlines communication and collaboration for businesses.
Enhancement:
- We have made enhancements to the Outlook connection setup. The new features include:
- For account type selection, users can now choose from common (default/existing), tenant-specific, organization, or consumer account types.
- Tenant-specific accounts can select between auth code grant or client credentials for authentication.
- Tenant-specific setups require a Tenant ID for streamlined configuration.
- Client ID and Client Secret fields are now available for all account types, allowing users to provide their own credentials when needed. These are required for Tenant-CC grants.
- Tenant-CC setups now use provided User IDs for endpoints and offer a streamlined approach to listing tenant sites.
- Note that endpoints with ‘/me’ do not work for Tenant-CC selections, and the “Sites” picklist uses the ‘https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/sites’ endpoint instead.
Excel
Enhancement
Excel enhances data management and automation for seamless workflows.
Enhancement:
- We have made significant enhancements to the Excel connection setup. These updates are designed to improve the user experience and provide more flexibility in managing connections. Key updates include:
- Users can now select between ‘common’ (default/existing) or ‘tenant-specific’ account types, allowing for more precise control over account settings.
- ‘Common’ type accounts connect using auth code grant (OAuth), while ‘tenant-specific’ accounts can choose between ‘auth code grant’ or ‘client credentials’.
- Tenant-specific account setups require a Tenant ID, and for ‘tenant-specific – client credentials,’ additional inputs like User ID, Client ID, and Client Secret are needed.
- Client ID and Client Secret fields are now available for all account types, allowing users to provide their own credentials when necessary. These are required for the ‘Tenant-CC’ grant.
- A task has been added to update existing connections with ‘common’ account type and auth code grant authentication for improved compatibility.
- Some endpoints may not work with the ‘Tenant-CC’ selection. In these cases, the user ID provided in the connection setup will be used. Additionally, the ‘Sites’ picklist across actions does not work for ‘CC’ connections, so a different endpoint is used to list all tenant sites. OAuth connections continue to follow the old behavior.

- The “Delete Folder” action now supports the deletion of non-empty folders without errors. Additionally, improved error messages and hints provide clearer guidance, ensuring a smoother user experience when managing folder operations.

Bug FIx:
- The “List Files and Folders” action now ensures that the schema loads correctly when using the toggle field to specify folder paths. This update enables the smooth use of datapills in subsequent steps without requiring a manual schema refresh.
